Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He's made major inroads globally into Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 received a Colombian Kids Choice Award as The Most Popular Song for the year 2017. In Medellin in 2017, Sony's La Industria Inc. released ADN his debut long player. The album peaked at the top of the charts, number 8 at the top of the Top Latin Albums chart. Vaina Loca is the Top Five smash hit in 2010, also featured Noriel alongside Ozuna. He released Dopamina the chart-topping sophomore album in the following year. Later in 2021, he performed as a duo with TINI on her streaming hit track Maldita Foto. 2000 also saw the huge record La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was raised in a music-oriented environment because both his mother and his older brother are musicians. In his interviews, he said his participation in music as compulsory. He learned how to play guitar, saxophone Ukulele, and piano while an infant. While his initial career choice was to become a veterinarian the brother Julian convinced him to take singing lessons with an Cuban teacher and the end result personally discovering his talent as a performer changed the course of his life.
